Data we collect
When you submit the contact form we process your name, email address, selected consultation type, optional start-date preference, and message content. Server logs may include IP address, browser type, and access times for security and technical operation. If you accept analytics cookies, we may process aggregated visit statistics as described in our cookie notice.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to intake requests and providing consultations — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contract / contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in answering inquiries).
- Operating and securing the website — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Optional analytics cookies — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Retention
Inquiry messages are retained for up to 24 months after the last correspondence unless a longer period is required for an active engagement or legal obligation. Engagement records are kept for the duration of the consulting relationship and thereafter as required under German commercial and tax retention rules. Server logs are typically rotated within 90 days.
Recipients and international transfers
We use hosting and email infrastructure providers who process data on our instructions. Where providers are located outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, where applicable.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection to processing where applicable under the GDPR. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in Germany (for example, the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht) or another competent EU authority.
No automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means.
Updates
We may revise this notice to reflect operational or legal changes. The current version is always published on this page.
